Skip to contentIn March, Felix is sending you messages on dealing with relationships.
The code for this proverb is a difficult one. It is a transposition code called the Key Word Code. One letter may stand for another letter. Your “friends” may need to help you with this code.
Felix has given you the word angels in the code. Good Luck

The Key Word Code is based on a word agreed upon in advance between the coders. Since this month’s ciphers are about relationships, the key word is “Friends.” To develop the code, you write the key word and then the rest of the alphabet leaving out the letters in the key word. The key word can be as short or long as you want it to be, but it can’t have any duplicate letters in it. See the diagram below where Friends is the key word.
F | R | I | E | N | D | S | A | B | C | G | H | J |
A | B | C | D | E | F | G | H | I | J | K | L | M |
K | L | M | O | P | Q | T | U | V | W | X | Y | Z |
N | O | P | Q | R | S | T | U | V | W | X | Y | Z |
When you reach the letter T in the code, the letters in the alphabet and the letters in the cipher are the same. This may even make the code harder to break since people don’t expect the letter in the code to be the correct letter.
The solution to this week’s cipher is:
If you choose to make friends with a pig, you must be prepared to live in the mud.
